The FKN intake has been developed to provide the most efficient and direct airflow path to the turbo. The full intake kit offers improved horsepower, throttle response and intake sound, with a black powder-coated inlet pipe and heat shielded airbox.
The factory air scoop is utillised in conjunction with a sealed airbox to seamlessly force cold air into the air intake for the lowest possible intake temps. Air then flows through the 3.5" high flow air filter, which utilises an inverted cone design for maximum engine breathing. A 3.5" CNC mandrel bent aluminium intake pipe allows for smooth entry of cold air directly into the the engine, minimising turbulence and restrictions from unnecessary connections.
All of the components included in the FKN air intake system work flawlessly together to provide increased horsepower and torque throughout the entire power band and an aggressive race inspired sound.
Peak power gains can range from 10-15HP on an otherwise stock vehicle. We recommend disabling your Soundaktor (noise amplifier) to fully enjoy the true sound of your motor and remove excessive drone caused by the device.
